JFO was founded in 1900 by Joseph F. O’Hora as a humble supplier of stokers, boilers, and automatic heating supplies.
In the 1950’s, Thomas “Bud” J. O’Hora returned home after serving in the Merchant Marines to take over the family business. Throughout the 1980’s, JFO & Sons, Inc. was a service representative for Orr & Sembour Powermaster boilers.
In the late 1970’s Ronald Keller, graduate of Bloomsburg University and Springfield Technical Institute, joined the company as a service technician, and is now serving as CEO of the company. Throughout his career, Ron has developed many strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and engineers, which helped mold the company into the energy solution provider it is today.
In 2007, Jonathan Keller joined the company after graduating from Bloomsburg University with a BS in Business Administration. Jon also studied plumbing & heating at Luzerne County Community College, and received a MAster’s Degree from the University of Scranton.
